Forth Bridge World Heritage Inscription

forth bridgeOn Sunday July 5 2015, the Forth Bridge was successfully inscribed as Scotland’s sixth World Heritage site.

The UK delegation were in attendance at the UNESCO Committee meeting in Bonn, Germany to witness this historical event.

Following the decision, the Minister for Local Government and Community Empowerment, Marco Biagi MSP, was on hand to deliver an acceptance speech on behalf of the Scottish Government.
