Tornado steams in to celebrate Forth Bridge World Heritage inscription
15 July 2015
Coinciding with the announcement of becoming Scotland’s sixth UNESCO World Heritage site, the Forth Bridge received a welcome visit from the Tornado steam locomotive on Sunday 5 July.
The steam loco, and its 12 carriages, provided a great deal of excitement for well-wishers in the area, as well as those on social media from across the world.
Photographer Peter Devlin had special access to capture the moment the iconic loco crossed the bridge.
