The project presentation series is back at the end of this month providing an in depth look at the construction of the Queensferry Crossing and its connecting roads.
The event provides an opportunity to hear from project engineers in detail about various aspects of the construction. The talks take place at 1000 and 1300 giving details on what has been happening recently and what’s coming next.
Safety cameras go live at Forth Road Bridge

Drivers and road workers will benefit from increased safety measures as temporary average speed cameras go live on the A90 northbound at the Forth Road Bridge.
The safety cameras will be switched on this Thursday (17th September) and will remain in operation until the end of the project in December 2016. On approach and throughout the roadworks, signs will advise drivers of the speed restrictions.

Tornado steams in to celebrate Forth Bridge World Heritage inscription

Coinciding with the announcement of becoming Scotland’s sixth UNESCO World Heritage site, the Forth Bridge received a welcome visit from the Tornado steam locomotive on Sunday 5 July.
The steam loco, and its 12 carriages, provided a great deal of excitement for well-wishers in the area, as well as those on social media from across the world.
