Members of the public are being invited to hear activity updates from Forth Bridges Forum members at the FRC Contact & Education Centre on Wednesday 18th March.
The meeting is scheduled at 6:30pm for a 7pm start with refreshments available from 6:30pm.

Forth Bridge song writing competition launched to celebrate 125th anniversary

The organisers of this year’s Forth Bridges Festival are looking to honour the Forth Bridge’s 125th anniversary in song – by launching a song writing competition.
Songwriters and musicians are being asked to pen an original piece of music with lyrics celebrating the world famous rail bridge.

Spitfire returns to celebrate Forth Bridge's anniversary.
The world famous Forth Bridge today celebrated its 125th anniversary with a spectacular fly past recalling one of the most momentous days in life of the Bridge.
Cabinet Secretary for Infrastructure, Investment and Cities Keith Brown joined primary school pupils to witness the Spitfire and RAF Typhoon soar over the Forth bridges at 1:25 PM to mark the rail bridge’s landmark anniversary.
FRC Presentation Series returns for 2015

Our popular FRC Presentation Series returns for 2015 with the first event scheduled to take place on Friday 27 March.
The presentations provide an in depth look at the construction of the Queensferry Crossing with an opportunity to hear from project engineers in detail about various aspects of the construction of the Queensferry Crossing and it’s connecting roads.
The Project Exhibition at the Contact and Education Centre aslso reopens every Staurday from 7 March until 31 October.
Forth Bridge party plans finalised

A week of celebrations are set to mark the 125th anniversary of the Forth Bridge this week, with over 500 bridge visits planned, over £160,000 raised for charity and a memorable flypast scheduled to mark the bridge’s special birthday.
Events will see 300 charity abseilers participating in a one-off ‘top to bottom’ bridge visit on behalf of Chest Heart and Stroke, a community market in South Queensferry and a further 250 visitors brave the heights throughout the week in aid of Princes Trust.
