Forth Bridges Festival 2015 dates announced

forth bridgeQueensferry Ambition and Network Rail have announced that the second Forth Bridges Festival will take place between Friday 18th and Sunday 20th September and will celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Forth Bridge.

Network Rail also launched the 125th Forth Bridges Festival Experience logo whilst Queensferry Ambition announced that Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS) is the chosen charity for the 2015 Festival.

Funding boost for North Queensferry

Following a successful bid to the Coastal Communities Fund, North Queensferry is set to benefit from £754,439 of funding which will be used to help boost tourism in the area – including installation of a floating pontoon landing berth in the harbour and a new digital visitor information kiosk in the town.

New exhibiton to tell the story of the Forth Bridge Raid
